What I learned about pulleys in Science

I learn about fixed pulley,movable pulley,combined pulley. Fixed pulley is pull down on the pulley rope, the load moves up. Movable pulley is pull up on the pulley rope, the load moves down. Combined pulley is have two pulleys and a Combined pulley systerm uses both a fixed pulley and a movable pulley.

What I learned about charts and graphs

I learned about bargraph,Circlegraph and pictograph. The circlegraph show Percent(%). The bargraph show how many people and activities name. The pictograph show use picture make a graph and they needed key,symbols(scale).

TODAY'S HOMEWORK

I want you to find as many examples of different kinds of charts and graphs as you can.

Check newspapers, magazines, books, internet, etc.

If possible, cut it out (including title and all information) or copy it.

If you have a printer, you can find many examples on the internet. Sports sites will have a lot of different charts and graphs. Business and weather information will usually be displayed as a graph of some kind.

There are many kinds you may find (pictoral graphs, bar graphs, line graphs, pie charts)

SOCIAL STUDIES

You should have an understanding of what a time line is and why we use them: They are used to look at events that take place over time.
You should know that when we study Medieval times, we are talking about a period of 1000 years which started around 500AD and finished around 1500AD.
Make a timeline of your life - starting with when you were born and ending now.
Write the big events that happened in your life and when they happened.
Using a different colour, add big events that happened in the world or your country that happened during this time. Ask your parents to help you if you don't know.
